10 Ideas for Men’s Groups

1. Mentoring
Spending time with a more mature Christian. A rare opportunity – not the norm. Can be 1-2-1 or as a group.
2. One-2-one Discipleship
Meeting up with a new Christian or with someone to work through a specific issue.
3. Mutual Accountability
Meeting to ask 12 questions (see below).
4. Prayer Partner / Triplet
2 or 3 people that meet up regularly to pray.
5. Book Group
A group the meets to work through specific material e.g. chapters of Christian book.
6. Project Group
A group that is a team already working together on a project that also wants to grow.
7. Men’s Cell
A Cell group (e.g. 4W’s etc) but just men.
8. “High Performance” Group
Maybe meeting for a short time for 1 specific purpose.
9. Group within a Group
E.g. the men in a mixed Cell, 3 people in a Cell.
10. Virtual Group
A group that doesn’t meet. Works best if the people in the group have meet up before. Email, txt messing, telephone, at the same time.
