New-Wine miracle

Some of the St Mikes staff were at the New Wine Harrogate leaders’ conference where a lady with one leg shorter than the other was healed!

Someone has posted a video of the healing on youtube.

The video itself, clearly, isn’t proof of the miracle, but I do know some of the people who were there as it happened!

The leg-lengthening thing is one of the oldest charlatan tricks in the book. They pull this in rural areas of Brazil and people still fall for it. Amazing.

I agree its a harder one to check out - move the hips and leg position changes. Friends that were at the event heard the lady report back later in the day; she showed her special shoes that had raised heal inserts to accommodate the length difference. I’m hoping there will be a full write up from New wine. As and when the appears I’ll post the link here.

I was there, and God is amazing!

I just love to watch God heal. I remember once having the top of my head slapped in Gerrard St, Chinatown (something was mentioned about my follicly challenged head at the time!), and being called a charlatan.

Then, when people were testifying to being healed, the head slapper accused them of being part of the “team!” The angry man stood and watched closely, and slowly softened. I suppose he came to the eventual conclusion our “team” couldn’t be that big!
