Yesterday I went to my first Deanery Chapter lunch. The Chapter is the group of clergy in the various churches and chaplaincies in the local area (called the Deanery).

I took the kids into town this afternoon for the baptisms outside St Mikes. As last year, the Arch Bishshop of York, John Sentamu, was leading the activities.

We went into York this afternoon to see what was happening at the York Viking weekend.
Lunch was from the European market in Parliament Street and Amanda and the children had pudding at Milkshack - where you choose any combination of chocolates and they blend it up into a milkshake … nice. BTW I passed on [...]

LUX is a scheme involving graduate and undergraduate students in ‘light’ projects that illunminate York landmarks after dark.
